Team: Detroit Stars 1919-1931 Throwback Jersey
The Stars began as an independent team but became one of the first members of the Negro National League in 1920. The team was very successful and had a winning record in every season but two. Their best season came in 1930 when they made it to the championship series but came up short and lost in seven games. The Stars roster was replete with legends such as , Norman "Turkey" Stearnes, Andy Cooper, Pete Hill, Ted Radcliffe, Sam Crawford, and John Donaldson.
