The Tennessee Titans officially unveiled a new logo and uniforms during an event for 2026 season.

This marks the first time the Titans have changed their logo since they adopted their current nickname in 1999, as well as the first uniform redesign since the 2018 season, when they switched to navy blue helmets.

Today's announcement not only reverses that decision, but leans heavily into the franchise's time as the Oilers, which spanned 37 seasons in Houston and their first two years in Tennessee, with Columbia blue and red being the focal point.

The new logo, which was leaked in February, is a simplified version of their previous design, which leaned heavily into Greek mythology with light blue, red and navy flames trailing a roundel that featured a bevelled, sword-like "T" and the three stars from the Tennessee state flag.

While it retains the circular shape and three stars, the new logo has removed the flames and no longer features beveling or sharp, sword-like points in the "T," with the franchise now placing more emphasis on state-specific details than the nickname or any associated imagery.

There's also a unique stripe down the center that includes six guitar strings, an obvious nod to Nashville's status as "Music City," which is then carried over to the sleeves of the light blue home and white road jerseys, as well as their corresponding white and light blue pants, which the Oilers wore on the road from 1972-94 and Titans as an alternate option from 2006-24.

The light blue home jerseys - which are actually a lighter shade than the Titans previously used to better match the Oilers' "Luv Ya Blue" - prominently display a "Titans" wordmark while the white road jerseys have a "Tennessee" wordmark above contrasting block numbers outlined in red. 

There are also three navy blue stars, which were included in the billboards and social media posts that teased today's reveal - underneath the armpits, similar to how the Denver Broncos have triangles in that spot. They also appear on a tag inside the back collar, along with a new "TN" (or "NT") monogram on the outside, doubling as the abbreviation for Tennessee and Nashville, Tennessee.



The Tennessee Titans 2026 uniform redesign strikes a balance between honoring the franchise's historical roots, including visual cues tied to both Titans and Oilers lineage, and embracing a contemporary direction. The shift toward Titans blue leans into fan favorite traditions, while the refreshed logo and wordmark create a unique identity that sets the 2026 look apart from anything worn before.
